Section 169
The District Court concerned shall have jurisdiction
(1) The District Court shall initiate, hear and dispose of cases mentioned in the Criminal Code.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if there is a separate provision in the criminal code regarding the authority to hear the case, or if the government of Nepal publishes a notice in the Nepal Gazette and appoints a separate authority to hear the case from among the cases mentioned in that code, such cases shall be initiated, prosecuted, heard and There will be no obstacle to shore.
(3) According to the law, any court, body or official has the right to process, hear and dispose of a case but such court or body has not been established or an officer has not been appointed, until such court or body is formed or until such officer is appointed, including the right to process, hear and dispose of such a case concerned district court.
